Senator Clinton and Chelsea stopped in Grafton Sunday, the birthplace of Mother’s Day. This particular Mother’s Day happens to be a special one for the city of Grafton.
That’s because its the 100th Anniversary of the holiday.

The book paints a picture of a woman charming enough to meet with foreign dignitaries and down home enough to prefer fishing over most any other activity. She gave more than 600 public speeches both in the U.S. and overseas during her lifetime and befriended the likes of Shirley MacLaine, Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. She met Bob Dylan, Elvis, two Popes and a whole list of foreign presidents.

There probably isn’t a mom alive who wouldn’t love for her children to prepare a nice meal for her on Mother’s Day. One advantage of showing mom how much you love and appreciate her by cooking for her is that you don’t have to venture out into the crowded restaurants on mom’s special day.

While Paula Deen has given us many favorite family recipes, has she ever given us a full blown rock concert? Do what I did and use this picture and visit www.MomYouRock.com to get started on your own moms rock concert. Then once you’ve practiced anough and had some laughs, make it again for the recipient…
